Well,  now that it finally let me sign in, I can write in. Today we went to the reservoir in Saltville. The water was VERY cold! My mom’s legs turned purple. There are a few pics below. In other news, gas prices are $2.36 here most places. We rode to Rich Valley to see the fair, although it wasn’t going on at that specific time. There are some pictures of it too. Also some pictures of different things in Saltville. The weather was sunny and it was GOOD to get out of the house.

Hey All! Today wasn’t too busy at the store. You’d thing since it is the beginning of the month that it would be busier. I think that it has become a trend that it hasn’t been busy, People just don’t have the money that they used to have. It’s either gas/bills or food. Yeah, I know gas is considerably cheaper than this time last year, but it’s on the rise. It went from $2.38 to $2.44 here today. Oh yeah, I think I’m getting Alzheimer’s disease at just 20 years of age. Why? Because yesterday when I started to come home from work, I picked up my badge to start the car! LOL… Then I was like "What am I doing?!" When I finally realized that it was the KEY that started the car, I took off ‘tord the house. When I was about half-way home, I seen (what I think was) a cloudburst. I grabbed the camera and started recording. I’ll leave you with this video that I recorded:

Hello Everyone, it’s been a while since I last wrote in. I have been working a lot lately. Well, we (mom and I) have started going walking regularly again. We hope to get back up there in miles again. At one point we were walking 4 miles a night at the high school track. We really want to get our weight down. Today we were outside and my mom discovered some kittens in out wood pile. There were three of them, and they were all long-haired. There is a picture of them below. In other news, gas is up to $2.15 here since I last wrote in. I hated to see it go back above $2. Well, I don’t realy have a lot more to say right now. I have to get some sleep, because I’m due up at 5:00 in the morning. I have to be at work at 6 o’clock.

Today wasn’t too busy at the store, so I was actually able to get ahead in my work. I must have been working fast, because I had got through all of the milk and looked at the clock and it wasn’t even four o’clock yet, and I just got there at three o’clock. Either way, Next I did the eggs which only a few needed to be filled, and then after that I "blocked" all the shelves (which basically means to make all the product look like a picture in a magazine or on TV). That didn’t take too long. After THAT I went and took about an hour break because there was nothing better to do. (Don’t tell mgmt!) I went upstairs to see if I had any "Fast tracks" to do. (Fast tracks are little videos we have to watch or things to read on the computer, and we usually have a test after we watch or read it.) So once I logged in, I had two that it said I needed to do. One was about Harassment, and the other one was about PCI or Payment Card Industry. It wouldn’t allow me to do the one on Harassment, but it let me do the PCI one. Basically it was about how to handle Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Electronic Benefit Transactions (EBT), and maybe a few others. Well, here is a picture of my PERFECT shelves when I got done at work tonight.

Just because I’m bored, here are a few prices from some items in my department. How do they compare to where you live?

Milk: $2.98
Eggs: $1.59
Cottage Cheese: $2.99
Cream Cheese: 4 / $5.00
Orange Juice: 2 / $5.00
Butter Quarters: $0.74

Happy Easter! 4/12/2009

Hello Everyone. I hope everyone had a good Easter! I had to work AS USUAL! I never get a Sunday off anymore. I was exhausted by the time I got out of work, I came home and went straight to bed (at 3:30) Now I’m wide awake as usual. I wish I could get my sleep straightened out! I hope everyone had a good day with their families, and if you traveled be careful going back home.

2009 Stimulus Package

For those not sure about the 2009 Stimulus Package, here is some information.

How the Credit will be Paid:

If you’re eligible, your payroll administrator will make the
withholding adjustment automatically and thereby increase your
take-home pay. The average worker will see this tax credit in the form
of a $13 bump in weekly paychecks starting in early Spring 2009.

You may prefer not to adjust your withholding amount and can get your
stimulus in a lump sum payment as a tax refund when you file your 2009
taxes.

I will probably get them to keep taking out the taxes. I would rather have a lump sum at the end of the year.

It’s been a while since I last wrote in, but I’ve been busy with work and stuff. Everything has been going pretty good. At work they have been talking to me about maybe giving me full time. That would be really good because I would actually get the benefits. I usually get around full time hours, around 35 or 36). I took a picture this evening. Here it is. Click on it to see the full size.
